This is one of Mama Kat's writing workshop prompts. I can't link her because the linker machine is not working. Google her if you would like to read her blog! It is cool.
1.) Describe the best/most creative punishment you have ever given your children or received yourself.
When my brother was approximately this age.......
I was approximately this age......
.....we were taking a bath and my mom left us alone for a little bit.
My brother pointed to the Johnson&Johnson shampoo and said, "Juice."
I, being the helpful big sister than I am, gladly filled a play cup from the bathtub with some J&J to quench my dear little brother's thirst.
He drank some, my mom came in, and guess what I had as my drink at dinner that night?
Johnson and Johnson.
Ew.
And then this one time, I was babysitting my brother and his friend when they were probably 11 and I was 15. I was downstairs in my room and they were on our third floor balcony throwing water balloons at passing cars and one HIT A GUY IN THE HEAD THROUGH IS SUNROOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He came to our front door in his wet Lacoste shirt SO MAD and it was HILARIOUS but I did a good job at pretending to be serious and concerned for my delinquent brother who throws water balloons at people when I was actually just impressed with how good his aim was.
That story has nothing to do with this writing prompt, as I don't remember what his punishment was, but it was really funny and I wanted to share.
